LEGAL / COOKIES

Cookie policy

The reviewed local configuration stores preferences in localStorage. No optional tracker is active there. No app code directly sets an HTTP cookie; if GA4 is configured, its Google tag may set measurement cookies after consent. Production hosting still needs a separate check.

01

What the application uses

The current application writes one first-party browser-storage entry for cookie preference choices. This is localStorage, not an HTTP cookie. Its contents are not automatically included in HTTP requests, although scripts running on this site can read them. No app code directly writes an HTTP cookie. If the conditional GA4 tag is configured and runs after consent, Google's tag may set measurement cookies.

Current browser-storage inventory
NameProviderPurposeDuration
Nameatelier-cadre:cookie-consent:v2ProviderAtelier Cadre (first party)PurposeRemember the visitor’s preference selections and timestamp.DurationSix calendar months from the saved time; target dates are clamped to the last valid day of the target month.

The record stores a format version, an always-on necessary choice, Analytics and Marketing selections, purpose-revision fields, and an ISO timestamp. With no GA4 Measurement ID configured, Analytics and Marketing purpose revisions are empty; if GA4 is configured, a new Analytics choice can store only the disclosed GA4 purpose revision. An obsolete v1 preference key is removed by the current helper when storage permits; it is not used as active consent.

Invalid, malformed, future-dated, or expired records are treated as no consent and removed when browser storage allows. The preference record is not sent to the server automatically. It remains readable by scripts executing on this site.

02

Trackers and embedded services

The source includes a conditional remote GA4 loader, described below, but no advertising pixel, marketing script, embedded third-party media, or tracking widget. The Resend SDK is used in the server-side contact endpoint to send enquiry email; it is not imported into browser code. External email, telephone, WhatsApp, and Instagram links are ordinary links and do not embed those services in the page.

No GA4 property, Measurement ID, or production configuration has been verified for this review. Without a valid NEXT_PUBLIC_GA4_MEASUREMENT_ID, the loader does not request Google's script. When configured, it can load only after an Analytics choice saved against the disclosed GA4 purpose revision. It is not active in the reviewed local configuration. The owner also intends to use Google Search Console for site search-performance information. No Search Console verification or integration was found in the application source; Search Console is a site-owner service and is not itself a visitor analytics tag embedded in these pages.

This finding applies to the repository reviewed on 16 October 2026. It does not establish what a production host, CDN, security service, browser extension, or future deployment integration may set or collect. Those layers and the deployed site have not been verified.

03

Preference choices

The preference interface offers Accept all, Reject optional, and Customise. Strictly necessary preferences are always on; Analytics and Marketing choices default to off. The footer's Cookie Preferences control can reopen the panel so choices can be changed or withdrawn. Saved choices expire after six calendar months.

Marketing technologies are not installed. Saving an optional choice does not by itself activate an unconfigured tracker. The conditional GA4 integration requires a matching disclosed purpose revision before it can run. A general choice made now is not permission for an unspecified future tool or purpose.

No optional tracker is known to be active in the reviewed source configuration. The first-visit banner is an interface choice and is not a statement that a consent banner is legally required for a tracker that is absent. The localStorage record is used to remember choices; its classification under the French rules for storing or reading information on a device should be confirmed for the final service. If a GA4 Measurement ID is configured, the tag must remain blocked until its purpose and provider are disclosed and any required prior consent is obtained. Do not assume that a particular GA4 setup qualifies for a consent exemption. See CNIL rules on cookies and trackers and Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act.

04

Change or withdraw a choice

Use the permanent Cookie Preferences link in the footer to reopen the panel. Saving a new choice replaces the stored preference and takes effect immediately for any future optional technology that checks the matching purpose revision. You can also remove this site's preference entry in your browser storage settings; the site will then treat the browser as having no saved choice.

05

Review and contact

If an analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or other optional technology is added, the operator must identify its provider and purpose, update this inventory and the privacy information, and collect prior consent where required before activating it. Questions can be sent to hello@ateliercadre.eu. See also the Privacy Policy, Legal Notice, and Terms & Conditions.
